Wisconsin will enshrine the state’s voter ID legislation within the state charter after citizens licensed the proposal on Tuesday.

President Donald Trump celebrated the legislation being added to the state charter on Fact Social after the vote was once referred to as Tuesday night time.

9 states, together with Wisconsin, require that citizens provide picture ID, despite the fact that Wisconsin’s necessities are the strictest, in line with the Nationwide Convention of State Legislatures. There are regulations in 36 states requiring or inquiring for that citizens display some kind of id, the NCSL stated.
