Sen. Mark Warner says Trump decision to remove security detail for former officials is “all about retribution”


Washington — Sen. Mark Warner, a Virginia Democrat, stated Sunday that President Trump’s resolution to take away safety coverage for former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and previous chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Team of workers Gen. Mark Milley is “all about retribution.”

“That is all about retribution, and he is placing other folks’s lives at risk, which is simply incredible,” Warner said on “Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan.”
