McConnell suffers fall in Senate, appears to be OK


Former Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., fell on a small set of stairs on Wednesday as he was once exiting the Senate chamber after a affirmation vote for Housing and City Construction secretary nominee Scott Turner. 

McConnell, who’s 82 years outdated and a survivor of formative years Polio, fell down the steps and was once briefly assisted through Sens. Steve Daines, R-Mont., and Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla.
