Jennifer Salke, Amazon’s head of movie and tv, is stepping down from her place after seven years at the process, the corporate stated on Thursday.
In a marvel transfer, Ms. Salke will transfer into a manufacturing deal at Amazon and is probably not changed.
“Jen has made up our minds that her subsequent problem and bankruptcy will likely be at the manufacturing aspect, with the purpose of having even nearer to the worldwide inventive group,” Mike Hopkins, head of High Video and Amazon MGM Studios, stated in a body of workers memo.
Mr. Hopkins added that with Ms. Salke’s departure, he had made up our minds to have the corporate function distinct movie and tv studios.
Courtenay Valenti will oversee movie whilst Vernon Sanders will oversee tv. Each will report back to Mr. Hopkins.
